保護者の皆様へ

少しずつ秋の気配がしてきましたが、 皆様お元気でお過ごしでしょうか。楽しい夏休みも終わりに近づき、今年度の新学期は９月６日より始まります。私達教師も新学期に向けての準備を始動しました。

２０２２年−２０２３年度はオンラインクラスと教室対面授業がありますが、教室授業に参加される生徒、その保護者の皆様に大切なお知らせがあります。

Covid-19 と感染症安全計画 保護者ボランティアのお願い

当校は Work Safe BC のガイドラインに基づいて、「感染安全対策計画」を策定しています。感染症リスクを軽減するための継続的な計画ですので以下のポイントをご確認ください。感染症のリスクが高まった場合、追加の対策が必要な場合は学校関係者に通知されます。

Participation Waiver（同意書） の注意事項として、お子様を登録される際に、この Participation Waiver（同意書）に目を通し同意していただきました。参考までにこの同意内容を添付します。

＊健康チェックを授業に来る前に保護者が必ず責任を持って行ってください。健康チェックは Covid-19の症状を含む病気の症状はないかを確認してください。症状に確信が持てない場合には、bc.thrive.health/covid19/enにある自己診断ツールを使うか、医療機関に連絡するか、８－１－１に電話連絡をすることができます。

＊学校の建物に入る際には入り口に貼られている Covid-19 のセルフチェックをお願いします。質問内容の健康チェックの項目に一つでも当てはまる場合、または風邪、インフルエンザ、Covid-19 のような症状のある人は建物に入ることはできません。

＊教室の出入りの際は、ドアの横に置いてある消毒剤で手指の消毒をしてください。

＊生徒、スタッフ、ボランティアは、トイレに行った後、顔を触った後、くしゃみや咳をした後、食べた後は、手を洗うか消毒してください。

＊マスクは必須ではありませんが、着用を強く推奨いたします。

＊生徒、スタッフ、ボランティア、保護者は COVID-19 と一致する症状が出た場合、すぐに帰宅してください。それができない場合は、医療センターまたは自宅への搬送を待つ間、隔離エリアに移動されます。

＊感染対策として授業の前と後に教室の机や椅子を消毒する必要があります。毎回の授業後に１名から２名の保護者に生徒が使用した机と椅子消毒のお手伝いをお願いいたします。ボランティアが可能でしたら担任教師にお伝えくださるようお願いします。

生徒、保護者、スタッフ、ボランティア、全ての人の安全を守るためにもどうぞご協力をお願いします。

Dear Parents and Guardians:

The new school term is starting very soon. We hope you and your family have enjoyed the summer. The teachers are looking forward to seeing the students again, and they have begun to prepare for the new term which begins Tuesday, September 6th.

For the 2022-2023 school year, there will be both in-person and online classes. We would like to make an important announcement to all families with students who will be attending the in-person classes.

Covid-19 and Communicable Disease Safety Plan & Parent Volunteer Requests

The school has established a Communicable Disease Safety Plan in accordance with
WorkSafeBC guidelines. Please review the following key points of the safety plan which includes ongoing measures to reduce the risk of communicable disease. Should additional measures be required when there is an elevated risk of communicable disease, they will be communicated to our school community.

*Participation Waiver: As a reminder, when you registered your child, you will have read through and agreed to the waiver before submitting your registration. For your reference, the waiver is attached.

*Health checks must be completed prior to attending the day’s class session and/or entering the school building. Parents will be responsible for undertaking this process for their children. A health check means checking yourself or your child for new symptoms of illness, including symptoms of COVID-19. If you are unsure about your symptoms, you can use the self-assessment tool at bc.thrive.health/covid19/en, contact your health care provider, or call 8-1-1.

*Posters will be affixed at the building entrance asking patrons to self-screen for COVID-19 prior to entering the facility. Any person who answers yes to any of the Health Declaration questions or who is ill with any common cold, influenza or COVID-19 like symptoms may not enter the building.

*Upon entry into the facility, use the hand sanitizer located at the entrance.

*Sanitizers are kept next to the classroom door and hands are sanitized prior to leaving the classroom for the day.

*Students, staff and volunteers are to wash or sanitize hands after going to the washroom, touching their face, sneezing or coughing into their hands, or eating.

*Mandatory mask-wearing is not required but the wearing of masks is strongly encouraged and appreciated.

*If any staff, student, volunteer or parent develops symptoms consistent with COVID-19 during their time in the space, they should go home immediately. If they cannot do so, they will be moved to an isolation area while waiting for transportation to a medical centre or home.

*As an infection control measure, classroom desks and chairs need to be disinfected before and after each class. We will require one to two parents to volunteer after each class to help disinfect desks and chairs used by students after each class. Please let the teacher know when you are able to volunteer.
